Which wireless router is right for you?
- Two of the most popular types of broadband internet connections available in Australia are ADSL and Cable.
- Most suburban areas will have access to one or the other. Both technologies give you fairly similar internet experiences.
- If you want internet installed you talk to an Internet Service Provider or ISP for short. Wireless 1 recommends TPG.
- Once the internet is activated you'll need a modem. Your ISP will either offer you a modem or you can buy your own.
- In the past modems provided by ISPs only offer a wired connection for one user.
- Introducing a wireless router or replacing the modem with a wireless modem router gives you the freedom to connect multiple computers anywhere in your home wirelessly.
- Follow the below guide to decide which wireless router is right for you.
