Australia Post & Courier Safety Measures

Due to COVID-19, a lot of courier companies are taking new measures to minimize the spread of the virus. Most of our parcels are sent via Australia Post who have made the decision to no longer require a signature on delivery during this period.

From now on, Australia Post will automatically authorize to leave the parcel in a safe place on your premises. In some cases, the courier will knock on the door, if the door is answered, they will leave the parcel at the door and sign on behalf of the receiver. We recommend keeping an eye on the tracking number so you know when to expect the parcel to arrive.

If this is not possible, they may take the item back to your local post office and leave you a pickup note in your letterbox so that you can pick it up from the post office. They will also not require a signature when picking these parcels up.

Other couriers (Fastway, CouriersPlease, TOLL, etc) have also implemented their own measures, some may vary between companies. When an item is delivered to the address and the courier speaks to a person at the premises, they will sign on their behalf before leaving the parcel at the door.

We anticipate this may lead to some delays in some delivery areas and we urge customers to be prepared for additional delivery times.
