A space and energy saver with new Intel Apollo Lake platform
Shuttle provides the all-new slim model DX30 and powered by an Intel Celeron J3355 processor. The DX30 runs a mere 40 watt adapter and integrates the latest Intel Apollo Lake SoC 14nm CPU processor. It is capable to deliver 4K/UHD with Intel integrated graphics GPU engine, made it perfect for digital signage and Kiosk. In order to meet the diverse needs of industrial commercial applications, the DX30 includes a wealth of I / O and high-speed storage interfaces, including USB 2.0, USB 3.0, M.2, PS/2, COM ports, and SATA 6Gbps to meet various of customer’s requirements. Also, the DX30 has built-in one DisplayPort and one HDMI as well as one optional VGA (XPC accessory PVG01) ports to support up to three independent displays. Its VESA compliant chassis fills a mere 1.3 liter and measures 43mm thick for easy integration in any places with limited space. The DX30 is certified continuous 24/7 operation and uses a fan-less cooling design, making it a very silent and stable machine for long-term operation.
Intel Apollo Lake Platform Technology
The all-new DX30 supports Intel Apollo lake platform technology, equipped with 14 nm Intel Celeron J3355 dual-core processor. Support 1.35V DDR3L low-voltage memory with a maximum capacity up to 8GB, able to reduce thermal energy production and overall energy consumption.
Support 4K Ultra HD
The DX30 is built-in HDMI and DisplayPort video outputs to support 4K high resolution (3840x2160). Now with four times the resolution of Full HD, viewers can enjoy the super detailed and crystal clear imaging of 4K.
Support HEVC/H.265 high-definition video playback
The Intel® Apollo Lake processor is built-in HEVC/H.265 and VP9 video decoding. The DX30 can decode the video with the latest generation codecs and reduce CPU utilization with lower power consumption.
Support up to three independent displays
The DX30 provides HDMI, DisplayPort, and optional VGA (XPC accessory PVG01)* outputs to support up to three independent displays. Use an adaptor to convert HDMI into DVI interface and DisplayPort into HDMI or DVI interface for diversified signal selection.
*Optional VGA output can only support FHD.
The DX30 uses a thermal module with cooled heat pipes to transmit heat throughout the system quickly and evenly. The fanless design reduces power consumption required by a fan as well as the cost of replacing fans on-site. Use with solid-state disks and create an operational platform completely free of noise.
With multiple USB2.0, USB 3.0, and PS/2 port, the DX30 also features two RS232 ports (one RS232 and one RS232/RS422/RS485) which both support 0V/5V/12V. Connect with barcode scanners, receipt printers, keypads, and other peripherals. The DX30 is easily configured into peripheral-heavy POS, Kiosk, and Digital Signage systems.
High-speed data transmission interface
With Intel Apollo Lake platform technology, the DX30 features native SATA 6Gbps and USB 3.0 high-speed storage interfaces. A USB 3.0 port which supports up to 5 Gbps and provides 10 times greater data access speed than a USB 2.0 port.
Support wire and wireless high-speed networks
The DX30 has built-in Intel i211 Gigabit LAN and supports Wake On LAN to provide high-speed data transfer capability as well as a better compatibility for business network environment. With a built-in IEEE 802.11 b/g/n wireless network module*, providing high-speed wireless data transmission speed.

The slim DX30 is VESA mount compliant and allows for versatile integration into hardware systems. This space saving capability is well-suited for digital signage and kiosk applications with limited space.
24/7 Nonstop Operation
Officially approved for 24/7 permanent operation. Thanks to Shuttle’s low power consumption design and stable operation, the PC runs highly reliable and meets the long-term demands of digital signage or other vertical applications.
Support Power on by RTC
Save energy costs as well as the cost of on-site service with Power-On by RTC function. Set automatic ‘Power On’ and ‘Power Off’ times by RTC via BIOS. Power on by RTC can also be turned on and off with the Windows task scheduler.
The Watchdog—protecting system security
Watchdog Timer provides excellent security protection for systems that need to operate continuously for a long period of time. Use Shuttle’s Watch Dog utility to maintain normal operation and stability of the system at all times.
