Sync your music service with your smart assistant
Got a music service you use like Spotify or YouTube Music? Sync your account with your smart assistant to get more out of the service! Once you’re synced up and ready to go, you can control your music through your smart speaker just with your voice. Want to play a specific song? Ask your assistant? Already have a playlist you want to listen to? Your assistant can play that for you if you specify the name of it. It’s a great way to play music around your house if you have 1 or more smart speakers around your home.
Your video assistant
Some smart speakers come with a screen. This takes your smart speaker to the next level. Not only can you customize the backgrounds using your app and create your own slideshows. But you can also view images and watch video directly from the device. If you’re trying to follow a recipe you can just ask your assistant to pull it up for you on screen. Sometimes, as a gamer, I like to watch some walkthroughs for some video games (when achievement hunting of course) to show me what and how to do certain things. So I pull up the video on my smart speaker and watch while I game. It makes a lot of things much more convenient.
Control your devices with your smart speaker!
With the introduction of smart home products to the market, a smart speaker/assistant would benefit you immensely if you have many smart home devices. For example, if you have a smart light bulb, you can ask your assistant to turn it on or off for you, you can ask it to dim the brightness, you can ask it to increase it. You can even ask it to change the colors of the light if your bulb is able to change colors. Not only that, but you can sync almost all smart devices to a smart speaker/assistant and you’ll be able to control all of them with just your voice commands to your smart assistant and you wouldn’t have to lift a finger.
